Jean Holman

For my audio project, I read my poem "To Spot the Gold Within and Without," adding music and sound effects such as the wind blowing and waves crashing to amplify the images in the poem. I took a road-trip from NC to Colorado that inspired this poem; it is part of a series of poems revolving around a tale of four friends venturing west for their last summer together. I wanted this poem to come across as atmospheric and dream-like.
